Have you always wanted to learn digital photography or have your own SLR camera but don’t get the results you want?
Here at Scarlet Studio, we offer a one day course teaching you everything you need to know about studio photography. You will be taught by our photographer, Simon Davies, who is a very reputable, frequently published professional. Many successful models have started their modelling career with him, so you know that you are in safe hands!
Simon will teach you about shutter speed, iso settings, apertures, studio lighting and much more. We will have an experienced fashion model, so you will even get to have a go yourself and keep some of the pictures.
One day course £125
This is a one day course covering the theory and practice of studio photography.
You will be part of a group of 5 students, contact us for available tutorial dates.
We will have the studio completely to ourselves all day, so there is no time limit or worry of interruption.
The morning is theory and practical, covering the basics of shutter speed, apertures, iso settings and how to focus.
This will leave you feeling confident to use an SLR camera in manual mode.
The afternoon is spent with an experienced Fashion Model exploring various shots and simple set-ups.
Light lunch is provided and in the afternoon the model arrives and we will work through a program of shots with her.
You will be given a multi page ”Intro to Digital” and ”Intro to Studio” colour handout to take home with you so you don’t forget anything that we cover in the lesson.
One to One Tutorials
One to one tutorials are available at a higher cost for obvious reasons, but the benefits are worth it as the tutorial will be tailored to your exact needs to get you where you want to be fast, you will leave with skills that would take you at least a year to learn at your own pace.
